Roger Tipton and Venkat Bhethanabotla Take Home Prestigious Cade Museum Prize

We are excited to announce that Roger Tipton and Venkat Bhethanabotla have been awarded a Prestigious Cade Museum Prize as part of the team at Path Optical Systems, Inc.  To establish creativity and innovation in entrepreneurs and inventors the Cade Museum Foundation was founded in 2004 by Dr. Robert James Cade a physician at the University of South Florida. The museum, which is located in Gainesville, Florida, captures the minds, hands and hearts of inventors of all ages. Cutting edge technology and STEM projects are highlighted to educate and teach individuals.

For the last 10 years prizes are awarded from the Cade Museum to four groundbreaking competitors from across the state of Florida from every major research university. The Cade Prize is the premier invention competition and from over hundreds of entries this year it was narrowed down to sixteen semi-finalists, Path Optical included.

An in-depth presentation was held by each of the finalists and Path Optical took third place for their small and affordable fiber optics that transport information at the speed of light. Path Optical was rewarded for their original idea and the prize money will help expand it into the market. For more information please visit cademuseum.org.
